Saybadii Piimay or Happy Lao New Year (2,554)!

According to the Gregorian Calendar (the one in use by much of the world today), it is currently the year 2011. However for followers of the relgion of Buddhism, it is soon to be the year 2,554 (being the number of years since the birth of the Buddha or Prince Siddhārtha Gautama). Evening Gala Featured Presenter: Andy South

Meet Andy South, one of the contestants from Lifetime's Project Runway (Season 8). For anyone that will be able to attend the evening gala, you will be in for a treat as he will be hosting a fashion show with a lineup of very exquisite garments and models. Ms. Lao International Pageant

One of the main events will be the Ms. Lao International Pageant. The event "will showcase beauty, poise, personality, and intellect and provide a platform for growth, development, and inspiration for young Laotian women around the world." Click HERE to get more information.
